Steel and iron components are zinc plated to provide improved corrosion resistance. The protection is largely the result of the zinc deposit acting as an anode to the base metal. This means the zinc corrodes preferentially to the steel, therefore extending component life.

|Envirozin KO8||Envirozin KO8 is a low metal, bright zinc plating system based on a potassium hydroxide electrolyte which offers exceptional clear deposit brightness after passivation. This brightness is retained even when over coated with clear stoving lacquer. The Envirozin KO8 zinc deposit is extremely ductile, consequently, zinc flaking is reduced. Envirozin KO8 process is particularly recommended for point-of-sale equipment.|
|Kenlevel XP||Kenlevel XP, a water-based, Low Foaming system represents the latest development in acid chloride zinc plating. The flexibility of the Kenlevel XP system means that it can be used with Kenlevel XP brightener for maximum economy, or with Kenlevel HT where temperature tolerance up to 50°C is required. Both brightener alternatives offer excellent deposit brightness and levelling. Kenlevel XP is resistant to high current density burning and very receptive to passivation treatments. It may be used with either fall potassium or mixed potassium ammonium baths and is suitable for use in both rack and barrel applications.|
|Kenlevel TR||Kenlevel TR can be used in either rack or barrel applications. It is a potassium-based, ammonia free electrolyte which operates at 20 - 40oC. It is designed to give exceptionally bright deposits with excellent adherence to the base material. This makes it particularly suitable for zinc plating fasteners and brake callipers.|
|Kenlevel Ultima||Kenlevel Ultima is a high performance acid zinc plating system which can be used in either rack or barrel applications. It is a potassium-based, ammonia free electrolyte which operates up to 50oC. The chlorine free additive system gives exceptionally bright deposits with excellent adherence and passivate receptivity.|
|Du-Zinc 019 LF||Du-Zinc 019 LF is a Simple to control two component system for easy bath control and maintenance. It’s low organic formulation makes it ideal for use in both rack and barrel applications. It may be used with either all potassium, all ammonium or mixed potassium ammonium baths. It is temperature tolerant up to 40°C and has no oil out tendencies. Zinc plated deposits have good ductility and are free rinsing resulting in improved passivate receptivity.|
