ZinKlad™ 1000 is a hexavalent chromium-free coating system that will meet today's industry demands for the highest performance surface treatments. It combines a zinc nickel deposit of 8 microns minimum thickness, with a high build iridescent passivate and clear topcoat. ZinKlad 1000 consistently meets minimum performance demands for corrosion and torque modification. |

ZinKlad 1000 deposits are applied from our range of Enviralloy Ni 12 - 15 and Enviralloy Niflex 12 zinc nickel electroplating processes. These are formulated to provide uniform and consistent 12 - 15% zinc nickel deposits that rapidly achieve minimum thickness for optimum coverage. ZinKlad 1000 zinc nickel systems are completed with the application of a high build trivalent passivate followed by a specialist topcoat layer. MacDermid TriPass ELV range of high build trivalent passivate films impart a silver-iridescent color, whilst extending corrosion resistance against the formation of white rust. HydroKlad and Torque'n'Tension topcoats provide increased corrosion resistance and modify surface properties to ensure uniform torque and clamping characteristics. |
