All year round, no matter what the climate, MacDermid processes are protecting architectural aluminum, fasteners, nails as well as provide excellent adhesion for organic coatings.
High tensile fasteners and nails need a sacrificial coating which provide long term protection against rust as well as not embrittling the substrate. Mechanical zinc, for bulk components, and hot dip zinc galvanizing (for larger components) meet these requirements. Mechanically applied zinc, MacuGuard, is the global leading process for non-embrittling zinc deposits. For hot dip galvanizing, MacDermid supply both high performance pre and post treatments.
Oxidite offers pretreatment and protection for all aluminum and its alloys including architectural extrusions. Iridite NCP hexavalent chromium free passivate provides both high adhesion values for subsequent organic coatings as well as excellent corrosion resistance in its own right.
