The NiKlad electroless nickel coating is renowned in the industry for stability and brightness. Our latest NiKlad ELV systems conform to the End of Life Vehicle Directives. The NiKlad range also features PTFE composites with low coefficient of friction, boron systems, black coatings and strike baths for processing aluminum.
The Vand-Aloy range includes corrosion resistant coatings specified for automotive applications.
Elnic deposits range from low to 12% (high) phosphorus. The latter is extensively specified by the oil industries to take advantage of electroless nickel corrosion resistance. Elnic systems also include systems containing boron (for electronic applications) or Teflon (to reduce coefficient of friction).
|Elnic 101||10 - 11% P||General purpose for all applications. Deposit has FDA approval.|
|NiKlad ELV 811||10 - 12% P||NiKlad ELV 811 provides an excellent corrosion resistant coating, good deposit hardness and wear resistance. Designed to resist strong oxidising conditions by incorporating tin into the electroless plated coating. It can be operated without ammonia.
NiKlad ELV 811is free of lead and cadmium additives and therefore conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS regulations. Meets the performance requirements of GMW 3059, Ford WSS-M99P9999-A1, WSD-M1P65B1 & B2, Chrysler CS9003, AMS 26074, AMS 2404, ASTM B-733 and ISO 4527.
|NiKlad ELV 812||8 - 10%P||NiKlad 812 is designed to resist strong oxidising conditions by incorporating tin into an amorphous, non-magnetic electroless nickel coating. Resistant to corrosion and to crystallization at temperatures up to 320ºC for one hour. The compressively stressed deposit also has good ductility, solderability, wetting of brazing alloys and exceptionally high magnetic transition temperature.
NiKlad ELV 812 is free of lead and cadmium additives and therefore conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS regulations. It is particularly suited for protecting aluminium substrates and meets similar performance requirements to NiKlad ELv 811.
|NiKlad 1000||11 - 13% P||Compressively stressed deposits with the highest level of electroless nickel plating corrosion protection and non-magnetic deposit properties. Particularly suitable for the aircraft, aerospace and memory disk industries, it can also be used where good shelf life solderability is required. NiKlad 1000 can be operated without ammonia.|
|Vand-Aloy 4200||10 - 12% P||High speed bath with a long service life. It is best suited for use in anodically protected stainless steel and conventional polyproplyene equipment. Vand-Aloy 4200 electroless plating process is tolerant of many impurities and suited for those production facilities where maximum throughput and quality is required. The system can be operated without ammonia.|
|NiKlad 767||5 - 6% P||Our most robust and widely used system. Very bright, consistent high speed bath for general applications with high or low loading. NiKlad 767 can be operated without ammonia. This electroless plating bath provides both high hardness and wear resistance with a moderate corrosion resistant coating.|
|NiKlad 768||5 - 6% P||High production, high loading version of Niklad 767.|
|NiKlad 787||6 - 9%P||NiKlad 787 is an ultra bright, EDTA-free bath. Particularly designed for maximum throughput and high bath loadings. The coating combines high hardness and wear resistance with good electroless nickel corrosion resistance. NiKlad 787 can be operated without ammonia.|
|NiKlad 797||3.5 - 4.5% P||Very bright, fast bath for high production applications. Very hard as plated. The system will initiate plating at 70oC (160oF) and is ideal for those specialized applications where lower temperature operation is beneficial.|
|NiKlad ELV 808||7 - 9% P||EDTA, lead and cadmium-free electroless plating process. NiKlad 808 conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS regulations. The bright corrosion resistant deposit provides very good wear resistance. NiKlad ELV 808 can be operated without ammonia.|
|NiKlad ELV 835||4 - 7%P||Free from lead, cadmium or other ‘intentionally added metals’ to be compliant with WEEE, RoHS, ELV directives and NSF 051. It is a very high speed electroless plating process that combines a high hardness and wear resistance coating with good electroless nickel corrosion resistance.|
|NiKlad ELV 849||7 - 9%P||Outstanding brightness, lead and cadmium-free, NiKlad ELV 849 conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS directives. NiKlad 849 provides very good deposit brightness, hardness and wear resistance with a good level of corrosion resistance for an electroless plating coating.|
|NiKlad 724||1.5 - 3% P||Semi-bright deposit with excellent hardness and wear resistance both before and after heat treatment. Excellent ductility. Good for electronic applications for example, soldering and brazing. NiKlad 724 conforms to AMS 26074, ASTM B-733, and ISO 4227 specifications.|
|NiKlad 797||3.5 - 4.5% P||Very bright, fast electroless plating process for high production applications. A very hard as plated electroless nickel coating. The system will initiate plating at 70oC (160oF) and is ideal for those specialized applications where lower temperature operation is beneficial.|
|NiKlad ELV 824||1 - 3% P||Organically stabilized lead and cadmium-free semi-bright process. The deposits are very hard and easily welded and offer exceptional wear resistance. NiKlad ELV 824 conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS regulations and meets AMS 26074, ASTM B-733, and ISO 4227 specifications.|
|NiKlad ICE Ultra||5 - 35%||Combines the hardness and uniformity of electroless nickel coating with the lubricity and anti-stick properties of PTFE. The uniform composite of this electroless plating process combined with PTFE particles provides low friction and good release properties. The PTFE content can be modified between 5 – 35% depending on application requirements.|
|NiKlad Eclipse||1 - 3% P||NiKlad Eclipse is an oxidizing solution designed to give black deposits when used with a duplex electroless coating where the top layer is the NiKlad ELV 824.
NiKlad Eclipse process is designed without any heavy metal stabilizers such as lead or cadmium to be compliant with WEEE, RoHS and ELV directives.
|NiKlad 752||0.2 - 0.5% B||Boron system primarily for all types of electronic applications. The deposit provides high electrical conductivity, exhibits low contact resistance and shows some good "as plated" hardness and wear resistance.
This deposit also finds a variety of uses in solderability applications due to the extended shelf life solderability obtained. This coating can replace gold in some specific applications.
|NiKlad Silk||3 - 6% (HBN)||NiKlad Silk is a metal-ceramic composite coating that combines the strength and durability of electroless nickel coatings with the lubrication, and anti-frictional properties of hexagonal boron nitride (HBN).|
|NiKlad ELV 831||Strike bath||Room temperature strike bath for zincated aluminum prior to electrolytic or electroless plating. Using the NiKlad ELV 831 strike produces excellent adhesion and can extend the bath life of subsequent plating solutions. It is an organically stabilized and lead-free bath.|
