MacDermid chromklad hard chromium Plating Systems

ChromKlad 2500 Flouride and halogen-free A high-efficiency hard chromium plating process which utilizes a non halogen secondary catalyst to produce smooth, bright deposits up to four times faster than conventional chromium plating systems. CHROMKLAD 2500 is completely free of fluoride and other halogens, therefore, will not etch unplated areas of the substrate like a mixed catalyst system. This non-etch characteristic may eliminate the need to mask or stop-off the substrate, saving significant time and money for part preparation. CHROMKLAD 2500 plates an extremely hard (1100-1250 HV 100), microcracked deposit which will improve wear and corrosion resistance over other proprietary chromium plating systems.
ChromKlad 1500 Soluble catalyst Hard chromium plating process which utilizes an easy to control, completely soluble, mixed catalyst system. CHROMKLAD 1500 is specifically designed to provide a smooth, bright deposit directly over steel or stainless steel substrates. CHROMKLAD 1500 plates at high cathode efficiencies and produces a deposit that exhibits excellent throwing power and less edge build up compared to conventional chromium plating systems. CHROMKLAD 1500 is recommended for hard chrome plating operations where complete coverage of the substrate is possible, where a suitable stop-off is used to protect unplated areas, or where low current density etching of non plated areas is not critical.
ChromKlad 500 Self-regulating high speed Self-regulating mixed catalyst hard chromium plating process designed to provide a smooth, bright deposit directly over steel or stainless steel substrates. CHROMKLAD 500 plates at high cathode efficiencies and produces a deposit that exhibits excellent throwing power and less edge build up compared to conventional chromium plating systems. CHROMKLAD 500 is recommended for hard chrome plating operations where complete coverage of the substrate is possible, where a suitable stop-off is used to protect unplated areas, or where low current density etching of non plated areas is not critical.
ChromKlad MS Mist Suppresant A stable, highly effective liquid wetting agent for reducing the surface tension of hard chromium plating solutions to meet the current EPA and AQMD Rule 1469(c)(14) requirements. It can be used for decorative and hard chrome plating baths, anodizing, and chromic acid etching processes. CHROMKLAD MS Mist Suppressant reduces surface tension thereby eliminating mist and lowering drag-out for improved economy of operation.
ChromKlad AC Anode Cleaner A simple to operate room temperature, immersion process used to remove the orange-yellow lead chromate scale that can form on lead anodes during chrome plating.
ChromKlad Acid Stripper Chromium stripper An acidic blend designed to strip chrome plating from steel parts by a simple immersion process. CHROMKLAD Acid Stripper eliminates the handling and safety hazards associated with mineral acids, will not attack steel or copper, and produces no obnoxious fumes.
ChromKlad Alkaline Stripper Chromium stripper An alkaline powder, which is dissolved in water to electrolytically strip chromium plating from steel parts without attacking the base substrate. CHROMKLAD Alkaline Stripper eliminates the handling and safety hazards associated with mineral acids, produces no obnoxious fumes, and strips chromium plate faster than caustic soda.
