Iridite S311/S3110

A two component liquid product that is used to produce a chromate/oxide coating on the surface of aluminum and its alloys which improves the adhesion of applied paint and powder finishes. In addition the special chromate coating provides good corrosion resistance to unpainted aluminum and, underneath paint, it prevents chemical reactions between the metal and the coating which can sometimes cause blistering of the finish. Iridite S311/S3110 is generally applied by spray technique.
